Classes are held as often as possible. We bring a wide variety of mediums and opportunities for creative growth! Teachers are local artists in the community who love sharing what they know. Looking for a very specific class? Let us know!
Our space features an Art Menu (like a restaurant, just without a kitchen!) where you can order a craft, and have the materials given to you! We also offer an “All-You-Can-Craft” buffet for makers who loves thinking on the fly and creating something out of nothing! Think, fairy houses, scrapbooking, yarn galore!!

When we are not hosting events and classes, we have regular drop in hours. During these posted hours (see latest instagram post or click on the home page), you can choose your own art adventure!
You may choose a structured art experience off our menu or go for the “All-You-Can-Craft” Art Buffet!
We will have a variety of materials, unique items pulled from thrift stores, fabrics, gems, paints, recycled materials and more! The Art Buffet is best suited for 13+ with exceptions for maturity! A parent or guardian must sign a waiver for any participant under the age of 18.
The Art Menu is a rotating monthly menu for adults and children featuring seasonal projects and experiences.
This option is designed after a restaurant menu, just without food. Pick an item and a staff member will bring you everything you need to make it (or show you the appropriate station to gather more supplies).
We will have a menu for teens/adults and a menu for children (3+). The Art Menu will also feature the basics; a nice canvas, a tote bag to decorate, a couple sheets of cyanotype paper.. Everything you need to have a lovely crafternoon!

Open Studio is a creative space for anyone looking for an outlet for expression, a community of makers, a way to learn a new skill..
It was founded on the idea of saving the art of expression and the connection it brings us. When the world demands digital, and when the world demands artificial intelligence, we turn into what we make with our hands.
Open Studio strives to be a space where a maker can come down, and hang out all day. The studio exists to inspire and for the purpose of consistent gathering. In the future, open studio will expand to other mediums, a space for conversation, for theater, for dance, for meditation..
We are also unique because we reside in the basement of a 100 year old building. For the longest time, our space was storage for the washers, dryers, and bed frames. It was owned by two community members who’s one request was that the building stays in the community.
